Larissa was outstanding to work with as a criminal defense lawyer. The case that she represented us in was looking quite grim at best prior to meeting her. 10 previous DWI , followed by a first-time habitual offender charge. This could have been up to an eight year sentence, despite having served the time for the previous convictions and only a few years of sobriety for our family member. She communicated with us throughout preparation very clearly and frequently. She was upfront and honest. When it came time to go to court, our exact words when, leaving the courtroom were "she is a beast." She had no fear and was completely prepared to cross-examine the other party. When all was said and done, as a result of her time, effort, care and consideration, a five month sentence was given. I highly recommend using her as your attorney. We will certainly be reaching out to her, if we have any more legal needs in the future

Amy Beaton was my lawyer for two felony cases. She is a wonderful lady. She is so intelligent, genuinely cares for her clients, and works tirelessly to negotiate the best resolutions. I was facing a high prison sentence for two burglaries that I committed while struggling with a substance use disorder. The prosecutor was not willing to come down on her offer ,so Amy and I decided to plead “naked” and argue sentencing to the judge. Amy and her investigator invested a lot of time obtaining records and compiling a social history. Amy drafted a persuasive sentencing memo and convinced the judge to consider a lower sentence due to my long-standing history of childhood trauma, mental illness and substance use disorder. The Judge sentenced me to a much lower sentence and I was very happy for what received. I trusted Amy Beaton with my life. She helped me change my life by getting me this sentence. I have now been out of prison for 5 years. During this time, I have managed my mental health, stayed in recovery, got married, had a baby girl and started my own cleaning business. Even after I was released from prison, Amy has remained a constant support in my life. Without Amy’s help, I probably would have lost hope and gone back to my old ways, like doing drugs and committing crimes. Thank you, Amy, for always having my back.
